These sticks were game-used by three talented players who made their mark on the game throughout the 1990’s and early 2000s.
1 – KOHO Torpedo model stick game-used by Tony Amonte while playing for the Chicago Black Hawks. The graphite reinforced shaft shows a lot of wear, with most of the black finish worn off. The original tape remains around the knob, and the blade tape has been removed so that Amonte could add a nice large black marker signature. Stamped “Amonte” on the custom-thinned upper shaft, “BA” has also been stamped onto the underside.
2 – Louisville TPS Response model stick game-used by Kieth Tkachuk. With the original tape on the knob, there’s also a handwritten “7”. “Tkachuk” is in factory graphics on the upper shaft with “XX-0117B”, which sounds more like rocket coordinates than a factory stick code. Game-use is noted with wear to the shaft as well as a few dings on the lower section. The tape has been removed from the blade so that Keith could add a nice flowing gold sharpie signature that stands out well against the dark background.
3 – Easton Ultra Graphite 7000 model stick game-used by Alexei Yashin. With the original white tape on the blade and gauze-style tape on the upper shaft, “Yashin” has been stamped onto the topside of the wooden Easton blade. There’s just light game-use to note, with wear to the taped blade and a few abrasions to the lower shaft.
