Forever revered in Montreal alongside other legends who have worn the famous CH, Patrick Roy will be remembered as one of the all-time greats in succession with Vezina, Hainsworth, Durnan, Plante and Ken Dryden. This lot contains a game-issued stick that has been signed by Roy, and a similarly signed Habs jersey. The stick is a KOHO Revolution model with “P. Roy” stamped on the upper shaft as well as a date stamp that reads “23 Oct 1996”. In good condition with three staple gun nails adhered from a previous display, there is also some tape residue above the paddle and on the upper shaft. Roy has signed on the white “K” section on the paddle in black marker. The accompanying signed jersey is a CCM example in excellent condition with size tagging in collar and “Roy” on back including his iconic #33, as well as tackle twill team crest. Patrick has added a large black marker signature to the upper left section with his number. Also included in this lot is a pamphlet from Roy’s jersey retirement night.
