Finishing 1-2-3 in the NHL scoring race in 1950, a feat that has never been duplicated before or since, the Production Line was made up of Gordie Howe, Ted Lindsay and Sid Abel. This collection of Production Line memorabilia features a number of items signed by the trio including a “Production Line” hockey stick, an 8” x 10” photo of the 1949 NHL All-Stars, a 4 ½” x 6 ½” Production Line book, a Detroit Red Wings puck and a pair of connected bricks from the Detroit Olympia. Very cool!
The complete breakdown for the Production Line items available in this lot is as follows;
1 – Signed puck. Detroit Red Wings Trench puck signed by all three in silver sharpie and it’s in near mint condition with perfect signatures.
2 – 1978 Red Wings pocket book signed by all three on the cover, and it’s in excellent condition.
3 – Detroit’s Big 3 book signed on the cover by all three in blue marker, in very good condition with perfect signatures.
4 – 1949 NHL All-Star photo framed and signed by all three next to his respective image. Very good condition.
5 – Pair of bricks from the Detroit Olympia that have been signed by all three in black marker. Comes with a small plaque stating details about the Olympia.
6 – Production Line hockey stick that has been signed by all three on the frontside of the blade in blue sharpie with “Production Line” graphics including “1947-1952”.
7-9 – Three Legends of Hockey postcards, with each individually signing his card in blue sharpie, and all remain in excellent condition.
