You’ve heard the tales about Stan Mikita’s wicked banana hook curve, and here it is exhibited on the blade of his mid-1960s Chicago Black Hawks Northland game-used stick! Legend has it that Stan discovered the curve when his stick got caught in the boards and bent the blade. A few shots with the warped wood did the trick and the curve was born! “Mikita” is stamped on the shaft and Stan placed a bold black marker dedicated autograph on the shaft. This beauty retains the HOF center’s original tape jobs on the blade and knob, with Stan’s retired No. 21 handwritten below it on the shaft. Plenty of solid game wear on this banana beauty with the ridonkulous curve on the blade, which has good wear on the bottom edge of the heel.
“Gunzo’s” is stamped on the shaft.
