Guy! Guy! Guy! The No. 10 and the Montreal Canadiens add up to magical memories of Guy Lafleur in full flight. This stunning creation by the Jostens company pays tribute to Flower and his fabulous career with the Habs. Lafleur’s iconic “10” is front and center on the tableau and filled with 18 diamonds. Set onto a large red stone, it is encircled by Lafleur's name in sloping letters, along with 1971 (the year of his first game with Montreal) and his initial retirement year of 1985. Lafleur's signature is engraved on the interior of the band of the size 10 1/2 ring, which has the “3/10” limited edition notation beside the signature and is stamped Jostens 10K. Wonderfully preserved in near-pristine condition with only very light surface scratches, it comes with its original presentation box and Guy Lafleur’s signed LOA.
The right shank has a raised “560 Career Goals”, while engraving on hockey stick blades below makes references to his Hall of Fame induction year (1988), his five Stanley Cups and the major individual trophies (Conn Smythe, Art Ross, Hart) he was awarded while forging his legend. The left shank features an image of the old Montreal Forum before its renovation in 1968, Lafleur's facsimile signature above and the date his #10 jersey was retired in 1985 below. A classy large flip-top wooden display/storage box (approximately 5 by 6 by 4 high), which exhibits minor scuffing/scratches, includes a golden facsimile Lafleur signature on top of the lid.
