Gorgeous limited-edition plates from “The Canadian Dream” series featuring loving and affectionate scenes from the great game, created by artist Joan Healey, and all measuring 8” in diameter, complete with protective boxes. Plate number one, from 1983, is entitled “Going to the Rink” and was the first in an annual limited-edition series by Healey. It’s the image of a boy wearing an Oilers jersey, walking a rural winter road with stick, gloves and skates. The plate is numbered as 1635 of 7500, and is signed on the back in gold marker by the artist as “Enjoy, Best Wishes, Joan Healey”. The second plate, from 1984, is entitled “Lacing Up” and features a boy wearing a #10 Habs jersey lacing his skates up to head to the outdoor rink. The plate is numbered as 4538 of 7500. The third plate, from 1985, is called “Faceoff”, and shows a young boy in a Leafs uniform on an outdoor rink, going for the puck as two kids peer over the boards. This limited-edition plate is numbered as 476 of 7500. Plate number four, from 1986, is titled “The Winning Goal”, is numbered as 3020 of 7500 and features a young boy wearing a Team Canada jersey celebrating his goal (in an empty net).
