Martin Gelinas played for a number of teams throughout his career, but none were probably as memorable as the Edmonton Oilers in 1989-90, the year he both wore this jersey, and won the Stanley Cup! With Maska Air-Knit tagging in the collar, as well as handwritten “89-90 / 2”, additional CCM and NHL crests sit affixed on the lower outer hem. This garment saw a lot of game-use as evident by a number of black marks on front, board burns with small resulting holes on both sleeves, and at least six different team repairs! Localized around both elbows, the left sleeve has 3 repairs, with a pair each well over 1" long, while the right sleeve has 3 as well, with a large repair directly on the elbow area that measures almost 3". A great garment from the last Edmonton Oilers’ Stanley Cup Championship season.
