A nice puck stopping offering of 3 goaltenders sticks including Manny Legace’s stick from the 2001-2002 campaign when he and his Detroit Red Wings captured the Stanley Cup. With “M. Legace 05 Oct. 2001” stamped on the upper shaft, this gamer has Manny’s original white tape on the knob and black on the blade, and along with various game marks scattered about, Legace has signed the paddle in clear black marker. A note included from the consignor states that the stick was given to him from his dressing room attendant pal at the Joe Louis Arena on January 5, 2002 after a game between Detroit and Colorado. Next, a game-issued Heaton stick with “M. Dunham” stamped on the upper shaft. Nice unmarked game-issued stick from a fellow who donned the pads for Atlanta, Nashville, New Jersey, the Islanders, and Rangers during his 10-year career. Lastly, a John Vanbiesbrouck Victoriaville store model stick with white tape on the blade and knob, “J. Vanbiesbrouck” stamped on the upper shaft, and along with various marks, an inscription handwritten in blue reads as “My practice stick…” but the name is uncertain.
