Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Four sticks game-used by players who have all suited up for the Washington Capitals are available in this lot, including examples used by Allison, Hatcher, Pivonka and Dino Ciccarelli.
1 – Easton Graphite model stick game-used by Dino Ciccarelli. With the original tape on the blade and shaft, including gauze-style tape over top, just very light game-use is noted, and Dino has signed the wooden Christian blade across the tape in black marker.
2 – Bauer Supreme model stick game-used by Kevin Hatcher. With the original tape on the blade and shaft with handwritten “4”, good game-use is notable with associated wear to the shaft and bottom of the blade. Stamped “K Hatcher” on the upper shaft, Kevin has added a nice black marker autograph just above the heel on the frontside of the blade.
3 – Louisville TPS model stick game-used by Jason Allison. With the original tape on the knob and gauze-style tape on the upper shaft, the tape has been removed from the blade so Jason could place a small black marker signature. Stamped “Allison” beneath the knob, considerable game-use shows on the shaft and blade, which has a notch out of it.
4 – Sher-Wood PMP 7000 model stick game-used by Michal Pivonka. With the original tape on the knob and blade, “Pivonka” is stamped on the upper shaft. Good game-use is evident with considerable wear to the top of the shaft. Michal has signed the stick across the blade and he’s added his number.
