Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
The scoring leader for the victorious US in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey, Brett Hull had 11 points in the tournament including 7 goals. This Easton Aluminum stick was game-used and signed by Hull, and according to our consignor, he used it in that very tournament. Numerous images can be seen on-line that does show Brett using this exact model stick in the tournament, and considering he was the leading scorer, it makes this stick that much more desirable.
With the original black tape on the blade and white on the knob and upper shaft, light game-use is noticeable with wear to the bottom of the taped blade. Brett has signed the stick on the lower shaft in black marker, right above where the wooden Christian blade gets inserted.
