Stunning celebration of the Penguins’ run to the cup in 1991. This real salesman’s sample boasts the name of one of the greatest players of all time, Mario Lemieux. The tableau is a work of art – the skating Penguin is highlighted by a pear shaped stone across the chest and surrounded by another sixteen sparkling CZ gems, all encircled by the proclamation “Stanley Cup Champions” and the year “1991”. One shank sports Super Mario’s surname and number "66" with a raised image of the Stanley cup while the other shank is decorated with the words “Pittsburgh Penguins” along with an intricate image of the Prince of Wales Trophy. This solid gold ring by Jostens which was originally stamped inside the band "Property of Jostens not for resale" was scratched off and has part of the original salesman’s sample numbers "795..." engraved on the inner band. Size 11 ring, has a weight of about 30 grams, it exhibits minor scuffing/scratches and a few small dents mainly located on the band but remains in nice condition overall and displays beautifully.
