This magnificent gold and diamond creation was presented to Jim Pappin after he helped the Chicago Black Hawks to the NHL regular season championship in 1969-70. The Hawks and Boston each finished with 99 points, but Chicago had five more wins than the Bruins to claim the Prince of Wales Trophy. Pappin scored 28 goals after tallying 30 times the previous season in his Windy City debut. Dazzling bauble originally from Pappin’s personal collection features 11 of 12 real diamonds amid the small shimmering stones encircling the big cubic zirconia in the center of the tableau. "69-70 NHL Champions" is spelled out aroud the bezel. The left shank displays "J. Pappin" above an image of the Prince of Wales Trophy and the Canadian and American flags, with “Pride” at the bottom. The right shank features the iconic Hawks logo, with "Chicago" above and "Blackhawks" and "Harmony" below. "Josten 10K" is stamped inside the size 10 1/2 band of this nicely-preserved stunner, which weighs in at approximately 32 grams and retains nice strong details along with proud wear in the form of light surface scratches.
