Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Sometimes the hockey gods are watching, and that was definitely the case when after a long and successful career, Ray Bourque was rewarded with a Stanley Cup during his NHL swan song. This Sher-Wood 7030 Feather-Glas model stick was used by Bourque circa early-1990s. With just light use exhibited, the original tape remains on both the blade and upper shaft and the NHL striping sticker is still in place. “Bourque 77” has been screened onto the upper shaft, and an illegible date as well as “Boston” has been stamped on the lower shaft beneath the striping sticker. Again just light use on this stick with no condition issues to note.
