Sensational first year Kansas City Scouts road jersey is a gorgeous durene affair by Wilson with the company tag in the neck indicating size 48. A blue felt year set tag in the lower hem reads "1974". Definite game wear here includes scuffing and a few material pulls along with faded red post paint transfer at both arm numbers and again on the back. Light interior pilling is also noted. Michel Plasse kicked off the season between the pipes for Scouts in 1974-75, playing 24 games for the franchise. He was then traded to the Penguins in return for Dennis Herron who went on to see ice time in 22 games before the close of the year. Both goalies wore the number 1 so it is quite possible that this uniform was worn by one or both Plasse and/or Herron. A darling durene with loads of appeal for those who seek out jerseys worn by Seventies-era goalies and the select group of you who are after long-defunct styles.
The intricately-embroidered tackle twill Scouts crest on the front shows some shrinking and puckering and the two-layer number "1" on the back and sleeves are in tackle twill and also sewn-on.
