Three game-used stick are here for your consideration from players that saw action in the NHL in the 1960’s through the 80’s. These include examples used by Peter Stastny, Pierre Larouche and Carl Brewer. A complete breakdown of each stick is as follows;
1 – Chimo SPM 900 Super Pro model stick game-used by Peter Stastny. With the original tape on the blade and knob, game-use is present in the form of a crack that goes right down the middle, above the heel. Peter has signed the stick across the taped blade in silver sharpie and he’s added his number.
2 – Koho Pro Hook model stick that was game-used by Carl Brewer. The original tape on the blade and shaft is in place, with an added “2” on the upper shaft in red marker. Good game-use is apparent with black marks on both the shaft and blade. According to our consignor, this stick was used by Brewer in 1973-74 when he was with the Toronto Toros of the WHA.
3 – Sher-Wood P.M.P. 5030 model stick that was game-used by Pierre Larouche. With the original tape on the blade and knob, “P. Larouche” and “28” is stamped onto the upper shaft, with an added handwritten “28” in red marker. The shaft is cracked about a foot above the striping sticker.
