Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Playing in Des Moines as the Iowa Wild since 2013, the Houston Aeros franchise witnessed almost two decades of professional hockey, first seeing action in the IHL from 1994 until 2001, then in the AHL – after the IHL folded – from 2001-2013. We have an Aeros jersey that was worn by goaltender Frederic Chabot in 1999-00. A Bauer Pro tag and size “58” label remain affixed to the collar, with embroidered Bauer and IHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a partially embossed Aeros team crest that pays homage to World War II bombers, the mesh V-neck has been embellished with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the 1999 Turner Cup champions crest over the right breast. Great use is exhibited, with a few marks present along with heavy pilling on the reverse tail and over each cuff. A team LOA will accompany.
