Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
A standout at Dartmouth College during the early-1990s, averaging over a-point-a-game through his four seasons with the school, Scott Fraser also appeared for the Canadian National Team while furthering his education before making his NHL debut with the Montreal Canadiens, in 1995-96. This Canadiens' jersey was issued to the Moncton native during his lone season with the club, in 1995-96. Maska and Center Ice labels grace the collar along with a size “56” fly tag, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “56” appears over the sleeves and verso in blue-over-red tackle twill, with “Fraser” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. Game-issued, the jersey does exhibit marks including over the right sleeve, so the possibility exists of short term use by Fraser. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle on Montreal Canadiens' letterhead will accompany.
