Making three NHL All-Star Game appearances throughout his lengthy career, Eric Desjardins is the only defenceman in history to score a hat-trick in a Stanley Cup Finals game, having achieved the feat in 1993. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Rouyn native in the mid-1990s, in either 1993-94, or early-on in 1994-95, before being traded to the Flyers on February 9, 1995 (the 1st game of the season occurred on January 21, 1995 for the Canadiens). A Maska Ultrafil label and size “56” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “28” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue tackle twill, with “Desjardins” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, an LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
Showing moderate game use, there are numerous burns and scuffs over each sleeve.
