Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A Boston Bruins second round draft choice in 1985, defenceman Alain Cote had a lengthy hockey career with NHL time spent in Washington, Tampa Bay, Quebec, Boston and Montreal. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Montmagny native in 1991-92, where he saw action in just 13 games. Maska Ultrafil labeling along with a size “54” fly tag sit affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the gorgeous and famous Habs CH crest fashioned completely from tackle twill, the white V-neck has been embellished with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers in matching material, with the NHL 75th anniversary crest just above the right breast. With just some light staining over the right elbow and reverse hem, the garment survives in wonderful condition. An LOA from the Canadiens’ organization will accompany.
