Pat LaFontaine’s 1987 New York Islanders game-worn jersey dates from a period early in his HOF NHL career when his production started to take off. Pat scored 38 goals in 1986-87 and had 47 the following season. Nice game wear to report on this jersey that has surname letters in white twill sewn directly onto the jersey, with a space between the first A and F. A pale size “52” is handwritten on the Maska flag tag in the neck along with “Lafont-” and “Aine” on two lines in black marker. Marks on the triple twill Islanders crest include a big board burn with green paint transfer. The front tail has black marks and reddish-brown stains on the left side, with more of those stains on the left elbow . Comes with an LOA.
There is more green paint transfer on the right sleeve, which has a few more light marks and board burns. There is an unrepaired hole on the front. CCM and Syosset Spots logos are embroidered on the rear hem.
