Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Clear and bold is HOFer (ind. 2004) Raymond Bourque's signature on the blade of his game-used Sher-Wood stick the dynamic d-man wielded in the mid-1990s when he was patrolling the blueline for the Boston Bruins. Ray's original blade tape has been removed (small black stains remain on the bottom), but the knob tape remains on the customized end. On the upper shaft is "Bourque 77" lettering, the "PMP" accent stripe is intact but has a slight cut in it, and “Ray Bourque” labels are just below on both sides. The stick shows light game marks, is crack-free, and all in all, this is a beauty of a twig from one of the greatest blueliners of all time.
