Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
The coveted Dan Kelly shamrock patch is sewn on the left shoulder of HOF center Adam Oates’ 1989-90 St. Louis Blues game-worn jersey. Oates had 23 goals and 79 assists for 102 points in his first season wearing the Bluenote, the first of four 100-point campaigns in his illustrious NHL career. A very faint handwritten size “50” is written on the Maska flag tag in the back of the neck of Oates’ alternate captain’s gamer. Solid game wear includes marks on the front tail, sleeves and numbers on the back and a board burn with an unrepaired hole and red paint transfer on the right rear tail. Comes with an LOA.
CCM and NHL logos are embroidered on the right rear tail and the Custom Crafted logo is heat-screened in white vinyl on the left rear tail.
More game wear includes board burns on the sleeves and left shoulder, a reddish-brown stain on the lower white stripe on the back of the left sleeve and marks on the “2” on the right sleeve including a bit of red paint transfer.
