Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015

Slightly battle-scarred is Curtis Joseph’s Louisville gamer he handled as a St. Louis Blue in the very early stages of his sensational puck-stopping career, 1991-92, which was the first year CuJo took over the main duties in goal after first suiting up in the bigs 2 years prior. With original tape jobs on the blade, knob, and paddle area, this gamer has “Joseph” stamped on the shaft, as is the date Feb. 10, 1992, and decent game-wear shows throughout including a few chips out of the edge of the paddle and some major red paint transfer below the knob. Also to note is the blade tape, which has worn off at the bottom. Nice game-used stick from a great and classy goaltender.
