Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Deceased HOFer Lorne “Gump” Worsley’s late-1960s Canadiens game-used stick has a nice big bold blue marker autograph from the Gumper on the back of the paddle. Victoriaville Pro gamer has “L.Worsley” stamped on the shaft with “Fiberglass Patented 1960” and the pattern number stamped further down. Gump’s original tape jobs remain on the knob, upper paddle and blade, which has a chip on top edge at the toe. Good wear on the bottom edge of the tape job on the blade, which has puckered in the middle. More game use shows in black marks on the paddle and red goalpost paint transfer on the back of the upper paddle and bottom of the shaft. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
