Joe Thornton was wearing this Western Conference gamer when he assisted on Scott Niedermayer’s goal at 15:08 of the second period in an 8-7 loss to the East All-Stars in the 2008 NHL All-Star Game. Big Joe has signed in bold black marker on the white fabric between the twill numbers 9 and 7 on the back of his game-worn jersey, which saw duty in the second period of the 56th NHL All-Star Game at Atlanta’s Phillips Arena on January 27, 2008 as stated in the LOA that accompanies it. Size 58+ flag tag sits in the back of the neck and NHLPA logo is embroidered on the right rear tail. MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2007-2008 registry patch is sewn inside the rear tail.
San Jose Sharks patch is sewn on the left shoulder and Atlanta 2008 NHL All-Star Game patch is sewn on the right.
Obviously limited game wear includes a small diagonal mark on the rear tail, which has a few faint light-red spot stains along the hemline.
