Martin Brodeur is a sure bet for the Hockey Hall of Fame as soon as he become eligible. The NHL’s all-time leader in goalie wins and games played, and shutouts, has signed his Eastern Conference game-worn jersey from the 2004 NHL All-Star Game in St. Paul, Minnesota. The starting goalie for the East, Marty stopped 10 of 11 shots in the first period of a 6-4 win at Xcel Energy Center on February 8, 2004. Marty has signed in bold black marker at the top of the 3 on the back. “Goalie Style” and size 60 flag tags sit in the back of the neck of Brodeur’s tie-neck game-worn jersey, which he wore during the third period while serving as backup goalie as per the accompanying LOA.
Devils and 2004 All-Star Game patches are sewn on the shoulders and NHL crest is sewn on the left breast.
MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2003-2004 Season patch sewn inside the rear tail has a registry number that corresponds to the one on the LOA.
Team name lettering on the front and stars around the tails are sewn-on felt. Numbers are sewn-on twill.
There is no discernible game wear to report on this special gamer that saw obviously limited use.
