A veteran of the WHA’s first five seasons, Bob Sicinski amassed this collection of eight of his milestone pucks from the rebel league as well as the minors. Included are WHA goal pucks from Sicinski’s first goal for the Chicago Cougars against the Minnesota Fighting Saints, his 20th goal from later in the league’s 1972-73 inaugural season, and his 100th WHA point the following year against the Winnipeg Jets. Comes with Bob Sicinski's signed LOA.
“1” is written in black marker across the screened round orange side of an Art Ross Converse Professional Hockey League puck. The other side is covered with a piece of white hockey tape with “1st W.H.A. Goal vs. Minnesota” written on it in ballpoint;
“20th W.H.A Goal” is written in ballpoint on a piece of white hockey tape that covers most of the round orange screened logo on Sicinsky’s milestone puck from the 1972-73 season when he scored 25 goals for the Cougars. “20” is written in black marker on the other side in the middle of a screened round orange Gunzo’s Sports Center River Forest logo. “Made in Canada” is stamped in raised letters on the edge of the puck;
“100th W.H.A. Point vs Winnepeg (sic)” is written in black ballpoint on a piece of white hockey tape across one side of Sicinski’s milestone puck. “100” is written in black marker on the screened Winnipeg Jets logo that has partially worn off the other side;
Sicinski’s 20th goal of the 1967-68 season for the EHL Greensboro Generals is mounted standing atop a wood base. Cooper Weeks puck with “Bob Sicinski, 20-goal, Greensboro vs Nashville, 1-21-68” engraved on a gold colored plaque;
“Hat Trick Nov. 26/68 vs. Char.” is written in black marker on a piece of white hockey tape wrapped completely around the edge of Sicinski’s EHL puck. “3” is written and underlined in black marker on the side with the CCM Official League Puck screened round orange logo. Puck has a blank reverse;
Sicinski scored 110 points for the EHL Greensboro Generals in 1968-69. His milestone 110th point puck has a wrap of white hockey tape with “1968 110th point vs. Charlotte” written on it in black marker. “110” is written and underlined in black marker on the side with the CCM Official League Puck screened round orange logo. Puck has a blank reverse;
Sicinski scored 23 goals for the 1971-72 CHL Dallas Black Hawks. His Dallas Black Hawks 20th goal puck from that season is mounted on a wood plaque with a plaque engraved with the milestone and the date, Sicinski’s full name, and “Dallas vs. Ft. Worth”;
PHL San Diego Mariners puck is mounted on a wood plaque commemorating Sicinski’s hat trick late in the 1977-78 season. Blue colored metal plaque has, “Hat Trick, Bob Sicinski, 3-18-78, San Diego’s Mariners” engraved on it.
