Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Fine Sher-Wood game-used twig from the great HOFer Guy Lafleur (inducted 1988), who wielded this with the Habs in the early-1980s when he was bulging many a twine and scaring the pants off many a goaltender. This Lafleur gamer, with a scattering of marks lining it, has its original white tape on the handle but has had the tape removed from the crack-free blade, where remnants of black tape remain. Lafleur has signed the shaft in clear blue ballpoint pen, and near the top of the shaft is a stamped "10", while nearby on the side is a handwritten "10". We also see what appears to be "6 aout 1981" stamped on the lower shaft near the blade. Definitely a nice gamer from le Demon Blond, and comes with an LOA from Classic Auctions.
