Very fine Roots jacket and jersey collection covering 2 different Olympic Winter Games, Salt Lake City in 2002 when both the Canadian men and women captured hockey gold, and the Turin, Italy Games in 2006 when Canada’s powerhouse women’s team brought home gold. All four garments from these historic games are ready to be worn with pride, and which include a great looking black and yellow jersey, tagged in the collar as a size “S”, with a fabulous “Canadian Hockey Teams 2002” crest on the front with embroidered lettering on and below, with one sleeve patch proclaiming the men and women’s gold medal victories, and the other featuring Olympic cities over the years when Canada would strike gold. Jersey’s in fab condition with some puckering on the front crest. Next is a grey Canadian Salt Lake City sweatshirt from Roots, tagged in the collar with the Olympic rings/Roots/Canada patch, with an adjoining size “L” flap. A similar Roots/Canada patch is sewn on the hem. This shirt has no marks, tears, or damage. Also from the 2002 Games in Salt Lake City we have a fine-looking burgundy jacket from Roots with “Canada” spelled out across the front and a large “Canada” leaf and “Salt Lake City” emblem adorning the back. This great jacket, tagged in the collar with the Roots patch and a size “L” flap, is in great condition with a hint of redness in the white lettering. Lastly is a black hoodie from Roots, tagged in the collar as a size “S”, featuring a beautiful and embroidered Canada crest on one breast and the embroidered “Roots” logo on the other breast. “Canada’ is spelled out in individual lettering across the back. This jacket zips up at the front and like the other three garments, is in great condition with no marks, tears, or holes.
