Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

This cool early-1970s Dallas Black Hawks game-worn jersey has tons of team repairs throughout! Featuring fantastic chain-stitched crossed tomahawks “D” shoulder patches, this awesome minor league gamer with a washed-out but distinguishable General Athletic tag in the hem could date back as early as the late-1960s. Fantastic Black Hawks crest sewn on the front features colorful cable stitching with lots of wear and fraying to the gold-colored twill in the face. We count over 18 sewing fixes with a few unrepaired holes on the upper back to the right of the white twill #16.
Loads of team repairs on the tails. Stitching on the rear inner hem has let go. The number “1” on the left sleeve has pulled away from its white thread stitching on the bottom left and along the right side.
