A classic gamer two-fold in its importance, with it worn by star forward Owen Nolan in the Nords' final season in Quebec before moving to Denver. Tagged in the collar as a "Maska" with an adjoining size "56" flap, this Nolan gamer has marks scattered about, some stains on the hem, and a number of small unrepaired holes on the sleeves. Nolan, who has signed his name in clear black marker on the back number, was drafted 1st overall by Quebec in the 1990 Entry Draft. He would suit up for 1200 regular season NHL games, tallying 885 points during his 18-year career that spanned 7 different cities. He would also be part of the 2002 Team Canada Gold Medal squad in Salt Lake City. Comes with an LOA. The Nordiques were an original WHA team that began play in the new league in 1972. In 1979 they, along with Winnipeg, Edmonton, and New England, joined the NHL as part of the NHL-WHA merger, and would remain in the Quebec capital until the end of the ’94-95 campaign when the team announced its upcoming move to Denver, where they would win the Stanley Cup in their first year.
