Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Hard-working defensive forward Brian Skrudland, who broke into the bigs with the Habs in 1985-86 and proceeded to hoist the Stanley Cup in the spring of '86, wore this white Canadiens jersey in the 1989-90 or 1990-91 season with the bleu, blanc, et rouge. A faded "Maska" tag, with no size, is in the collar, while on the hem is the embroidered "CCM" and "NHL" logos. A few marks and paint transfer are scattered about, particularly on the sleeves, and we see a team repair on the right sleeve and 3 more on the left sleeve, plus puckering on the team crest and back numbers, with pilling noticeable on the inside of the gamer. Just an excellent game-worn Habs jersey from a key player who would enter the record books when he scored just 9 seconds into overtime of game 2 of the ’86 Cup finals.
