Varied collection of colored and black and white early Pittsburgh Penguins postcards which range from 1967 to 1974, and which features 13 black and white postcards from the '67-'68 season, 3 miscellaneous B&W postcards, 2 complete booklets of undetached colored cards from 1971-72, a 1973-74 color picture pack (12 pictures + order form), 15 black and white media pictures from the 1971-72 season, another 5 various B&W media pics, and an envelope from the Penguins that some of these came in. These postcards and media pictures are all in nice condition with many of them showing slight age yellowing on their edges. Please see our website for names and sizes. The 13 black and white postcards from the 1967-68 season measure 3 1/4” x 5 ½” and feature cards of Billy Speer, Ab McDonald, Dunc McCallum, Les Binkley (2), Paul Andrea (2), Hank Bassen (2), Billy Dea (2), and Al MacNeil (2). The 3 miscellaneous postcards mentioned above show Bob Woytowich, Charlie Burns, and 1 of Michel Briere posing on a Billy Harris-Dave Keon Hockey School card. (“Michel Briere” is handwritten in blue ink on the back). The 2 identical booklets come complete with colored 3 ½” x 5 ½” postcards and feature such early Pens’ stars as Jim Rutherford, Rene Robert, Bob Leiter, Jean Pronovost, Ron Schock, Keith McCreary, Dave Burrows, Bryan Watson and many more. From the 1973-74 color picture pack that measure 7” x 8 ¾” we have Syl Apps, Lowell MacDonald, Jack Lynch, Jean Pronovost, Btyan Watson, Andy Brown, Blaine Stoughton, Dave Burrows, Greg Polis, Ron Schock, Jean Lagace, and Jim Rutherford. The black and white media glossies which measure 8” x 10” include Tim Horton, Syl Apps, Les Binkley, Dave Burrows, Darryl Edestrand, Val Fonteyne, Connie Forey, Nick Harbaruk, Bryan Hextall, Sheldon Kannegiesser, Rick Kessell, Brian McKenzie, Joe Noris, Greg Polis, Jim Rutherford, Duane Rupp, Eddie Shack, and Bryan Watson. The final group of glossies, measuring 5” x 7”, all have their names handwritten on the backs and include Denis Herron, Jack Lynch, Cam Newton, Lowell Maconald, and Ken Schinkel.
