Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Very cool 1950s burgundy and white wool hockey sweater from the Hingham High School hockey team, a team from the Quincy area near Boston that comes with a rich hockey history dating back to the 1930s. This high school gamer, measures 19" from underarm to underarm, and 24" from collar to hem, has individual felt letters spelling out "Hingham" on the front, and the white number "7" on the back is of felt material also. Just a terrific vintage gamer from the 1950s Hingham squad. The jersey has a series of tiny holes in the white wool shoulder area, with 2 repairs on the left sleeve and another on the right sleeve, a stain is also located on the shoulder. On the hem are 2 small tags with numbers printed on, an illegible tag nearby, and two areas with stamped numbers on the material.
