Absolutely dandy find of four vintage New York Rangers felt pennants, with three dating back to the 1950s and one from circa 1960s. The three earlier ones are completely different from each other, with one in off-dark blue, measuring 30 inches, with Rangers lettering and an image of a player along side. This pennant shows some marks scattered about, some of the paint is cracked, and the bottom tassels are missing. The next pennant, measuring just over 27 inches, is red in color with with lettering reading simply as “New York Rangers”, and also has some paint cracking. The tassels are intact, and two marks from paper clips are noticeable. A smaller pennant, measuring 23 inches, is in really nice condition and states “Souvenir of Madison Square Garden”, along with the image of the old Garden. The fourth pennant, circa-1960s, measures just over 29 inches and looking mighty fine in its dark blue color with white and red trim, and has no marks, creases, or paint flaking. This pennant, showing players shooting on a goalie, was manufactured tassle-free. All in all, four great vintage pennants heralding the boys from Broadway and the iconic rink they played out of.
