It's safe to say that Thomas Steen is one of the greatest Winnipeg Jets of all time. Offered is the Steen's Winnipeg Jets nylon mesh game-worn rookie jersey from 1981-82, tagged in the collar as a "Sandow Large", and worn by Steen in training camp and possibly early in the season. The nameplate with embroidered lettering reads as "T. Steen" as brother Anders also attended the same camp, although he didn't stay. This game-worn Steen jersey shows puckering on the team crest and back number "25", with distinct vintage game wear marks scattered about, and also has added game wear in places. The inside fight strap is a simple skate lace tie-up. Just a great and important gamer from a player once voted by his peers as the league's most underrated player. Tomas Steen was a career Jet, a fellow who notched 817 points in 950 games over 14 seasons with the team, ultimately having his number 25 retired in 1995. He was a crafty and intelligent playmaker and ultimate team player, and is on the short-list of legendary Jets which include such notables as Dale Hawerchuk, Bobby Hull, Teemu Selanne, Anders Hedberg and a few others.
