Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013

Here's a complete program from a March 23, 1968 game at the Montreal Forum between the Canadiens and the Detroit Red Wings, won 7-4 by the Habs. This Montreal team would finish first overall, led by the Vezina Trophy winning tandem of Gump Worsley and Rogie Vachon, then sweep through the playoffs, losing only one game on their way to a Stanley Cup championship, their 15th. The program, which is in solid VG+ condition, has been autographed on its cover by virtually the entire team, including future Hall of Famers Jean Beliveau, Henri Richard, Worsley, Jacques Lemaire, Serge Savard, Jacques Laperriere, Dick Duff and Yvan Cournoyer; plus Bobby Rousseau, J C Tremblay, Vachon, John Ferguson, Claude Provost, Ralph Backstrom, Gilles Tremblay, Carol Vadnais, Mickey Redmond, Larry Hillman and coach Claude Ruel. A marvelous keepsake signed by the core of the team that won six Stanley Cups in nine years between 1965 and 1973.
