"There goes the greatest hitter that ever lived." That's what Ted Williams dreamed people would say about him and he lived up to that standard in the eyes of many baseball fans. Offered here is a lot of four signed Ted Williams items, including a pair of autographed American League baseballs, along with a spectacular limited-edition framed 10-card set from Upper Deck. Ted Williams signed each of two AL Bobby Brown baseballs, including a very clean ball in its own case, as well as another ball with infield dirt and a couple of marks to the right of the league president’s facsimile signature, displayed in a clear case that is mounted on a wood stand along with a Williams baseball card;
The Splendid Splinter signed in big blue marker across the top of a 10x8 artist’s montage of a Williams portrait surrounded by his classic swing, a thumbs-up pose in his fighter jet cockpit and a newspaper page trumpeting his .406 average in 1941, displayed along with a gold-colored “Hall of Fame 1966” plaque on the bottom of a 13” x 10 1/2" wood plaque;
Williams placed a bold blue marker signature across the bottom of an illustration of his follow through on a 6” x 3 1/2" card;
Ted Williams Upper Deck Limited Edition Gold-Hologram Series 1992 framed display of the “Baseball Heroes” 10-card set. These magnificent cards spanning the highlight’s of Ted’s incredible Hall of Fame career with the Boston Red Sox are displayed in a 17 1/2" x 21 1/2" black frame with matting that permits both sides of the cards to be viewed without removing them from the frame. Comes with a UDA certificate of authenticity.
