Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
Patrick Roy surpassed Terry Sawchuk's all-time regular season wins total during the 2000-01 season to become the top goaltender in hockey history. He closed out the season with the Conn Smythe high over his head. Not a bad year! This pair of Koho goalie pants was worn by Patrick during his time with the Colorado Avalanche in Denver. The black model 62 OG SP pants are tagged in size 36-38 and have "ROY" marked in black appearing on the CCM tag sewn into the left hip. Game wear is heavy with loads of scuffs and marks throughout, extensive interior pilling and the NHL's black and silver shield crest affixed to the back of one leg. Comes with a detailed letter of authenticity from Drop the Gloves.
