Wonderful white Penguins uniform worn by the league's top sharpshooter Jaromir Jagr during the 1997-98 season and also for the Skills portion of the 1998 NHL All Star Game. Jagr potted 47 goals this season and added another 48 assists to finish second in team scoring behind Super Mario. Jagr's Starter-made mesh gamer is tagged in the neck in size 54-R with "68 A" and "SC 98" noted in marker by the trainer, Steve Latin. The stunted nameplate holds double-layer tackle twill letters on the back above the two-tone number "68". The shirt exhibits very a few marks high up on the back with a burn near the nameplate and the folks at MeiGray have relayed that the shirt would have been worn for a couple/few matches preceding the All Star Weekend. Comes with a comprehensive package of authenticating documents from the MeiGray Group including an image showing the conclusive photo-match.[red] Addendum; the wear on the jersey consists of two light marks right below the front team crest, a good size mark on the lower front hem near the seam line, a few light marks near the alternate captain's 'A' and a couple of marks to the left of the nameplate.
