Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
Swell artifact from hockey history-rich Cleveland, this sturdy black vinyl equipment bag includes strong nylon burgundy straps and features the short-lived National Hockey League Barons' logo screened on each side. Number "19" is screened in white at each end, with research revealing that defenceman John Baby wore #19 for part of the 1977-78 season, the Barons' last of two before they merged with the Minnesota North Stars. Bag may have been used by others and has survived in excellent condition with no apparent holes. Its heavy-duty zipper is still in fine working order. Cool!
