A Percy Williams #34 card highlights this lot of 22 sports cards of a variety of Canadian athletes from a 60-card 1926 set issued by Dominion Chocolate. All of the cards in this collection have their original coupons attached. Williams' card is graded 80 by SGC, with an EX/NM-6 rating, and the rest of the cards are in mixed condition. The Vancouver-based track star went on to win two sprint gold medals for Canada at the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam. Williams set an Olympic record in his second round heat in the 100 metres, finishing in 10.6 seconds. He and three others matched that time in the semi-finals to advance to the final, where Williams ran a 10.8 to beat out Great Britain's Jack London for the gold. He claimed his second gold medal with a first-place finish in the 200-metre final. The remaining 21 cards in this collection include four speed skaters, four rowing cards, four golfers, three boxers, and another five from various sports.
