Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

A product of the University of North Dakota, Jonathan Toews has led the Chicago Black Hawks for over a dozen seasons which includes winning a trio of Stanley Cup championships since 2010. The superstar has also been honoured by his home province, with a lake in northern Manitoba named “Toews Lake”. This signed stick was issued to Toews for the 2010-11 NHL season. A Bauer Total One model, “Toews #19” factory graphics grace the upper shaft, with a serial number affixed to the underside. The original black tape remains on the handle with the original white blade tape removed, with Toews placing an attractive silver paint pen signature across the front side blade. It should be noted that due to the irregular black tape on the handle as opposed to Jonathan’s typical lengthy white tape job, the stick is being sold as a game-issued specimen, and could have possibly seen use in games and/or practices, as the stick does appear to exhibit light use, with a few marks to the shaft. Hailing from the personal collection of a Montreal Canadiens/Chicago Black Hawks executive, a Classic Auctions LOA will accompany.
