Enjoying a lengthy career with stops made in Montreal, Los Angeles and Tampa Bay, netminder Jean-Claude Bergeron also spent time in the AHL and IHL, with his hockey tenure concluded in 1999-00 with 13 games played for the QSPHL’s Joliette Blizzard. Drafted by the Habs in 1998, we have a Canadiens jersey worn by Bergeron in the 1988-89, 1989-90 or 1990-91 preseason, before his rookie campaign in 1990-91, where he appeared in 18 games. A Maska Ultrafil label is affixed to the collar along with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem, with the sweater measuring-out to roughly a size 52. Styled with the iconic “CH” team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with “37” in blue-over-red tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Bergeron” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. Sporting light game use with a washed-out stick mark over the upper front, there is also some pilling to the interior sleeves and beneath the fight strap. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle on Montreal Canadiens letterhead will accompany.
