This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
This glittering Prince of Wales Trophy awarded to Canadiens defenseman J.J. Daigneault commemorates Montreal’s 1993 conference final win over the Islanders. The Habs won the first three games of the series to run their playoff winning streak to 11, tying the NHL record, before closing out the series in five games to advance to the final. Daigneault’s full name and that of the trophy appear on a plaque on the front of the wood base. "NHL Champions - Montreal Canadiens - 1992-93" reads a plaque on the back. Silver-plated cup is supported by four hockey sticks which rise up from the base, whose brown felt bottom is signed by Daigneault in silver paint pen. Comes with J.J. Daigneault's signed LOA.
