Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Hailing from the 1994-95 NHL season that witnessed Eric Lindros first named as Philadelphia Flyers captain, we have a signed Flyers captain’s jersey worn by the superstar. The Big E would secure 70 points in 46 games also garnering the important Hart Memorial and Lester B. Pearson awards in 1994-95, all while leading the Bullies to their first playoff appearance in six years. A CCM label with handwritten “88” remains affixed to the collar near a size “56” fly tag, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests gracing the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the classic winged-P Flyers team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the V-neck home jersey has been accented with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers in matching material. Lindros has signed the reverse side of the team crest in black marker along with the Flyers trainer, with "94-95" handwritten below. A signed LOA from Eric Lindros will accompany.
Marks are present over the lower front and sleeves, with board burns near each elbow section. There is also a team repair over the right shoulder, with a large L-shaped tear to the left of the nameplate.
