Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Deceased HOFer Emile Bouchard's vintage game-worn equipment collection features his 1950s Canadiens hockey pants, shoulder pads, and knee pads, all with his retired #3 on them, as well as four pairs of his hockey socks. Some of the inner protection has dried up inside the heavy hockey pants, which have Butch's "3" written in black marker inside the back and feature the red and white piping the Habs wore on the bottom of each pants leg up until the late 1950s. The shoulder pads have McNiece's Sports tagging and "3" stamped on them. Big Butch's #3 is handwritten in black marker on the brown leather knee padding on his game-worn shinguards. A well-worn pair of Butch's Habs socks, two pairs of red socks in NHL All-Star Game colors, and another pair of socks round out this lot that comes with Butch Bouchard's signed LOA. The shoulder pads’ interior padding has dried up and cracked.
