Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Playing for the Terriers of Boston University for four seasons, Ed Ronan made his NHL debut with Montreal in 1992-93 and saw action in parts of four seasons with the Habs. This Canadiens jersey was issued to Ronan for his rookie season of 1991-92. A Maska Ultrafil label and size “54” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL logos on the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “31” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Ronan” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. The NHL 75th anniversary crest also resides just above the right breast. We should note that despite the accompanying LOA from the Canadiens stating that the jersey was worn, there is no discernible game-wear, so it is being sold as an issued example, and remains in gorgeous new condition.
