Their 42nd season of competing in the NHL, the Chicago Black Hawks would secure 32 wins in 1967-68, and would dispatch of the Rangers in the playoffs before losing in the Stanley Cup semifinals to Montreal. This stick has been team-signed by the 1967-68 Black Hawks, and it’s accompanied by a group of six individually signed framed photos along with a framed 1938 replica team crest. A full-size Victoriaville Olympic model, 16 have signed one side of the shaft in blue ballpoint, including HOFers Hull, Mikita and Pilote, along with Stapleton, D. Hull, Goyer (was only with the Hawks in 1967-68), Nesterenko, Mohns, Dryden, C. Maki, Terbenche, Jarrett, Wharram, Martin, Marotte and Coach Billy Reay. The signatures display nicely with just a bit of fading occurring, with light wear to the stick. The framed photos include Pilote – original wire photo signed in black marker, framed to 10” x 13”, Esposito – modern print signed in blue sharpie, framed to 11 ½” x 13 ½”, Hall - modern print signed in blue sharpie, framed to 11 ½” x 13 ½”, Mikita - modern print signed in blue sharpie, framed to 11 ½” x 13 ½”, D. Hull - modern print signed in blue sharpie, framed to 10 ¼” x 12 ¼” and Litzenberger – modern print of a vintage image signed in black marker, framed to 11 ½” x 13 ½”. The signatures display well with light to moderate wear to the frames. The 1938 replica team crest is 7” in diameter and sits on the original NHL Patch Collection card, framed to 12” x 15”.
