Cool collection features four Camille Henry milestone pucks, including the 20th goal puck from his Calder Trophy 1953-54 season with the New York Rangers and his 500th NHL point puck with the St. Louis Blues. Camille the Eel took NHL Rookie of the Year honors after scoring 24 goals for the Broadway Blue Shirts, including his 20th, which he scored with this Art Ross NHL official game puck mounted on a killer Bakelite trophy. A gilded puck mounted on a base with the date “20-10-54” engraved on the front is most likely from the Rangers’ 6-2 win against Boston on Oct. 20, 1954. The Blues 500th point puck is mounted under a Gateway Arch on a wood base with a plaque, as is Henry’s 270th goal puck. Comes with an LOA from the Henry family.
Henry’s 20th goal puck from his rookie season is mounted on a 4 1/2" tall trophy with a plaque on the front that reads, “Camille Henry, 20th Goal, March 10, 1954, First N.H.L. Season, 1953-1954”
The “10-20-54” puck can be loosened from its black wood pedestal base that stands 2” tall. Henry played in the Rangers’ 6-2 win over the Bruins but did not figure in the scoring.
Henry got his 500th NHL point with his fifth assist of the 1968-69 season, which set up Ab McDonald’s goal on Terry Sawchuk at 1:57 of the second period in a 1-1 tie against Detroit in St. Louis on Nov. 16, 1968. The milestone puck is a A Blues Converse NHL Art Ross game puck with the patent number, mounted on a wood base with a plaque that reads, “Camille Henry - 500th Point, Detroit at St. Louis – Nov. 16, 1968”.
Henry’s 270th goal puck is from Red Berenson’s six-goal game for the Blues on Nov. 7, 1968. Henry scored his 9th goal of the season for No. 270 at 9:59 of the third period to make it 7-0 before Berenson added his sixth goal of the game at 14:04 in St. Louis’ 8-0 win. Henry’s milestone 270th goal puck is a Converse NHL official game puck with a rubberized Flyers logo on the face. Most of the rubberized orange reverse has been torn off. The puck is mounted on a wood base with a plaque on the front that reads, “Camille Henry – 270th Goal, St. Louis at Philadelphia – Nov. 7, 1968”.
